Order & Chaos: Planit’s New Brand of Connection

Order & Chaos: Planit’s New Brand of Connection from Gensler Connect on Vimeo.

This post is part of a blog series related to Dialogue 30, "The Livability Issue.”

When Baltimore’s award-winning ad agency Planit moved to a new neighborhood, it looked to forge a tighter bond with the community. So it opened a coffeehouse. (Yes, a coffeehouse!) What might seem like a head-scratcher of an idea turned out to be a stroke of genius. The coffeehouse, named Order & Chaos, not only gives Planit a real relationship with neighbors, but also connects the agency’s clients with consumers, celebrates the creative process and draws more attention to the agency’s brand. (It even lured Kevin Spacey, who popped in for a cup of joe while filming House of Cards!)

Watch the video to see how Planit is impacting its neighborhood culture.
